EES – Endorsement
To,
Mr. Dilip Rahulan
CEO and Chairman,
Pacifc Control Systems,
Dear Sir,
Greetings.
Firstly, I would like to appreciate the efforts and support of Pacifc Control Systems in the Emirates Energy Star Initiative,
which has been initiated in association with Etisalat, UAE. This program, launched in December 2011, is welcomed and
supported by the Ministry of Environment and Water. We are grateful for the efforts undertaken by the private and public
sectors in contributing to preserving and developing the environment in the UAE.
It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that the Carbon Footprint Initiative, which was launched in 2007 as a joint
initiative between the Ministry of Environment and Water, the Emirates Wildlife Society, the Abu Dhabi Global Environmental
Data Initiative and the Global Footprint Network, will focus on setting new policies in the feld of effcient use of energy, mainly
lighting, and putting forward advanced mechanisms and systems to execute these policies, during the second phase of
implementing its plans. Given the importance of this project in our overall efforts aimed at conserving electricity and thus,
reducing carbon footprint resulting from power generation, and due to its full compliance with the Emirates Energy Star
Initiative as well as the corporate social responsibility principles, which represent an integral part of your company’s policies,
the Ministry of Environment and Water looks forward to support Pacifc Controls by actively participating in sponsoring the
environmental footprint initiative.
We look forward to your response on arbon ;"> ng the
